Cheap Wii Component Cables $13.39 Shipped
If you don't mind having 3rd party cables and ordering from an import store. Play-asia.com has component cables for $9.99 and only $3.40 for shipping.

Thanks...will most likely order a pair soon. I have not had time to play Zelda with everything else going on in my life along with trying to play games on my 360 and PS3. Life is good when there is an abundance of quality games and just not enough time to play them all.

It's definitely a good buy. Guys/gals, try to play Windwaker again on component and you know what i'm talking about
I never hooked up the Wii via composite so i don't have any Wii games to compare to, but i will say this, base on the GC games via Wii's component, i'm not going back to composite. I might even sell my GC now, because i can't turn on the GC while playing the Wii and the Wii can play the GC games anyway.

Thanks for the length info. I think I'm going to have to buy a component video switcher-do-hickey because I have too many component video sources for my setup now.

I got these cables as well. I ordered them before I'd gotten my Wii and they showed up the day after I'd gotten it. Great (accidental) timing.
The only problem I had with them is that the component cables and the audio cables have to be plugged in within roughly eight inches of each other. I'm not sure if it's like that with the other brand component cables. Previously, I had the component cables for my cube hooked up directly to my TV and the audio cables into my receiver. I had to switch a few things around and reprogram my universal remote to get everything working. The image quality is good, though. I was a little worried at first because the wires do look very thin.

Yeah, those wires are very thin but I guess I can't complain. They were only $10. I'd be interested in trying some higher quality cables to see if there is a noticeable image difference. The colors in Zelda sure seem kinda muddy looking to me. I'll try Monkey Ball tonight to see if thats any better.
