It's funny seeing Lawrence of Arabia in the $7.50 list since I was just thinking about it. I assume it's the old 1-DVD edition. What has confused me is that I see a "Lawrence of Arabia 2-DVD Collector's Edition" scheduled for release on 3/20/2007, but I couldn't find any details on the Internet (Google, Amazon, DVD Empire, B&N, DDD, etc.) About all I found is it has no DTS track listed and the running time appears slightly shorter (3:22 instead of 3:28). Does anyone know how this upcoming Lawrence of Arabia differs from the existing versions?

Yeah, I did. I walked up to the register with the ad and the 2 disc dvd and pointed out that it was the same version listed. She rang it up and it rang up at 10 dollars, anyway, despite having a sticker saying 22 dollars, so she just dropped it down to $7.50. It was surprisingly simple, and a great deal.

I'm wondering if this will be an issue with the 2-disc Casablanca that's supposedly 10 dollars at Target next week...

I believe that they're clearing out stock to accomdate newer releases and the eventual winner of the Blu-Ray / HD-DVD war.
