Pass. Everything I looked at, by the time they add shipping and sales tax, I can get the things new for the same total cost at Amazon or DDD.

A few days after I bought something too. Oh well, I would have only saved a $1.50, hahaha. You gotta find some nice used deals for this to come out to a great deal. Or something out of print.

I thought this was gonna be a good deal to pick up some used CDs, until I realized they added tax and had such high shipping rates. I had a cartful of $2-4 CDs I've been wanting for a while anyway. The 25% deducted $16.19 then shipping and tax added $26.91. So much for the savings huh?

This type of sale basically is only useful for used box sets - the postage charges don't add up.

Clearly. I had already been expecting some shipping, but I guess I figured it would be capped at $10 or something instead of adding $1 for every single CD.

I find it interesting that to ship 20 CDs they charge $21.95, but if you sell them 20 CDs they will only credit you $3.99 for shipping.

I found 3 of the bond SE's that I needed. Now if I can just find Thunderball and the empty vol 2 and vol 3 boxes I'll have that set completed.

This sale sucks the big one. I searched hard for some good deals and snagged Ken Burn's Baseball and BattleStar Galactica The Original Series for 35 bucks. Wherehouse canceled these items and more from my order with no explanation.

exact same thing happened to me. Ordered the baseball set and it was also canceled with no notification. Funny thing is that it was still listed as being in stock when it was canceled.

Ok so, I had ordered what I thought would be the Dawn of the Dead (1978) Directors Cut DVD that is OOP from spun.com and it turned out to be the theatrical anniversary edition that is OOP. Whatever, I don't care, I'll take either.

Now I am just deciding whether or not I should try again, but this time from Wherehouse. I hate returning things.

Thanks OP, found some OOP Anchor Bay Hammer discs at good prices. I just hope Satanic Rites of Dracula is really the AB edition.
