Scrubs - "My Friend With Money" - 1/11/07

"My Friend With Money"
Spoiler:
J.D. enjoys the luxuries Elliot's new private practice buys, but his jealousy comes to the fore when she takes away his privileges to watch the 60-inch plasma-screen TV.

Hilarious episode, especially with Turk reacting to Carla and Jordan talking and Jordan entering the hospital complete with a reference to Jurassic Park.

I was hoping Todd would pop in when J.D. was taking a picture of Keith topless just to throw us for a loop.

Judy Reyes has been knocking it out of the park this season. Like Todd, I was hoping for a nipple shot, but thanks to Janet Jackson.....

The jokes came so fast and so frequent that I can't even remember what I laughed hard at.

"Isn't She Lovely" playing when Jordan came walking in was great

I liked the Turk dance and how they kept it going down the hall after he passed Elliot and JD.

Janitor dancing in the sealed room was classic. As MrX mentions above, Turk dancing in the background was great too. All this dancing in one episode! Good episode.

That had me

It's good to have four solid comedies all on one night. For me, Thursdays is the best night of TV.

Jordan's speech to Mrs. Turk was hilarious, particularly the portion about not listening to the Hollywood superstar that worships the dead sci-fi writer.

and the pic of Turk.

Great episode. My favorite part was probably the opening segment with JD taking pictures of Keith, especially when they flashback to them taking pics in a busstop bathroom without explaining why.

Anybody else not expecting much from the musical episode next week?

Nice to hear some Decemberists at the end of the Ep. Also glad to see that it looks like JD and his lady won't last much longer.

Easily my favourite moment of the night was the look on Turk's face when Carla said she wanted to throw Isabelle off the roof...PURE GOLD.

Did I miss something with the trampoline floor scene? I immediately though of the rubber floor beer commercial and then JD bounced a Budweiser off the floor. Was it just a coincidence?

TMI about breast feeding!

I don't blame Turk about not wanting boobie juice on his shirt!

With Kim's half-hearted "I Miss You, Too", it doesn't look like JD will be in the picture much longer. With the mention of the webcam, I was expecting JD to see cheating on him. She may be pregnant, but she is still HAWT!

If that was the intent it went totally over my head. Probably why the ending seemed kind of weird to me.

I didn't catch her sounding half-hearted. Sounded "normal" to me.

And now I can't listen to it again since I've deleted it.

Pttthh. Oh well.

Does anyone else here, besides me, want to see JD and Elliot get together again in the end?

Anyone know the name of the song the janitor was dancing to while he was alone in the luxury suite?

IIRC it was "The Girl from Ipanema" - not the Sinatra version, but I believe the orignal.

If you go here

Then click listen and preview "The Girl From Ipanema"

It was definitely a signal. JD looked heart broken after she said it.
