James Spader was excellent as always during the closing.

Loved how Denny's kazoo-trombone played the first few notes of the show's theme-song.

New Orleans apparently is Denny's kind of town. That says something.

OK episode. Funny part was Paul's look and hearing the FwB.

Nia Long's attractive but her hair was just f'd up here.

A Malcom In the Middle reunion with the guy who plays Clarence/Clarisse and Merrin Dungey, they were Stevie's parents on Malcolm.

"My penis is packed" Loved the kazoo.

It was fun, like always. Hope the Denise thing plays out quickly. A smart, attractive and successful woman doesn't flaunt herself like that, especially not in the workplace, especially so shortly after her fiance's death.

I was thinking today while watching Larry King that this show is the anti-24. I mean that in the sense that 24 refuses to ever drop the facade or give any break of levity even for a moment and this show on the other hand, also technically a drama, refuses to ever take itself seriously to even pretend for a single episode that there are real stakes or real people involved. I don't know exactly what that means for the quality of both shows, but it's an intersting contrast.

OK, my favorite line of the episode "I support diversity. I date midgets."

"My penis is packed"

Is this the first episode with Clarence in the credits? That was unexpected. I sure hope this doesn't mean we get a court case with him/her every other episode.

Loved Coho's "You Slut!" comment.

This episode was kind of ho-hum though.

I predict a pregnancy with an ongoing "Who my baby's daddy" theme and it will turn out to be someone totally unexpected like Rene Auberjoinois (?sp).

I also thought this episode's formula was way too familiar, but Shatner makes it worthwhile.

Seeing as she's currently pregnant, that shouldn't be too hard to write into the script.

When Paul suggested the friends-with-benefits idea to Shirley, my jaw dropped.

I thought this was a pretty mediocre episode. As usual, the Denny stuff was pretty funny and Alan gave one heck of a closing (even I was having doubts if he could win that case). Mostly I just really could have done without the Clarence sub plot and I thought that really dragged the episode.
