How good was..."The Tao of Steve"?

I just love this movie with Donal Logue. I have this ready to watch again and after seeing "The Knights of Prosperity" on tv and loving it, i can't wait to watch this gem again.

I think it is so underrated and such (for lack of a better word) a sweet film. Logue's charater was so lovably detestable and worked really well.

Anyone see this little indie?

I saw it theatrically and remember enjoying it, although I really never gave it much thought afterwards. It took me a bit to place where I had seen Logue before when Grounded For Life went on the air.

Great great movie. I kind of miss picking up these indie films from my local rental place. It's what I usually did when I got home from college and didn't have anything else to do.

This movie has two favorite lines of mine:
Am I supposed to remain celibate while I bask in the warm glow of your annihilating contempt?
and

Rick: This is almost as ridiculous as your sleeping diet.
Dex: That time I lost 30 pounds.
Rick: You also lost your job.

i've watched/rented this quite a few times and so glad i have it now. got it with one of the 20% sales and is so worth it. it is one of those that you could watch so many times and still enjoy the hell out of it and Logue's performance.

I thought this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen (saw it in the theater). Different strokes for different folks.

After all of the rave reviews I heard about it, I was really disappointed with it.

I was disappointed too, although I still thought it was ok. It's really nothing more than a generic, run-of-the-mill love story in the end.

Saw it a few years ago, but nothing from it stuck with me, other than I remember doubting that Steve could really get any of the women in that film.

Count me in with the "Disappointed" group too. I liked the whole "Tao of Steve" philosophy expressed in the film and Donal Logue's performance, but was really disappointed when the movie degenerated into a run-of-the-mill love story.
