My Wii control has been great but now, for someone, it doesn't work. Number 1 does but the other control will be work right. When doing Tennis the guy will not swing, and bowling the motion part isn't work. The buttons are fine. However the motion does work on the menu area.
I have replaced the batteries and did a re-sync.
Any idea what is going on?
Is it broke?

Has it gone through any sort of trauma? Can you trace the troubles back to a specific moment? If the issue is with the wiimote plus the nunchuck and you have a set, have you tried swapping the nunchuck and wiimote pairings to see if that changes the behavior?

Might be worth checking the sensitivity as well.

Might be worth checking the sensitivity as well.
Also make sure the sensor bar is situated correctly (i.e. where you've told the Wii console it would be - above or below the TV). I found that 9 times out of 10 problems I had were because someone had left an extra Wii remote or AV remote blocking that sensor.

... that is unless you're playing Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz which seems to just had mega-crappy sensing in the programming (the game will display a communications error mid-minigame for multiple players while allowing others to continue playing). I have NO idea what that's about!

I call the number and you were right. I had to HIT IT
I had to turn it upside down and hit the button side on the plam of my hand. It worked with one hit!
CRAZY
So if you have a remote that will not work (only the buttons) try it!

Bowling and tennis don't use the sensor bar, only the accelerometers.
