Table Tennis?

Wow, that is one game that doesn't belong.

I agree.

Prey was also a mediocre FPS. GRAW or Rainbow Six: Vegas should be there instead of Prey.

And no Oblivion whatsoever?

That's just kind of silly.... I guess everybody has their picks for best games but Wii Sports on top? and Table Tennis? yeesh.

Although by far the best PS3 launch title, I don't think Resistance deserves it's spot either. And while I enjoyed it, Lego Star Wars 2 in the top ten? That having been said, I'm not sure what (besides Oblivion) I would put there instead. As an RPG fan, I'd think FF XII. Or Okami, though I guess that had limited appeal.

Prey doesn't belong on there either.

Given the widespread appeal of Wii Sports, particularly with non-gamers, I don't think it is that much of a stretch. It just depends on the criteria they use.

Tisk tisk on no mention of Oblivion. Kinda surprised about Wii Sports taking the top spot, too. I've been having a lot of fun, however, with that title.

I played Table Tennis 4 or 5 months ago and I thought it was pretty fun. Not sure it would be a top 10 game, but it would be fairly close.

Honestly, it appears Time went for the broader appeal games.

I guess that's your opinion. FFXII was one of the highest scored games of 2006 and easily one of the best FF games ever made.

I don't know, I would have figured Oblivion had a broader appeal then Prey, and table tennis didn't seem to have that much of a following at all. Oh well.

I'm one of the few who enjoys RS's Table Tennis but I'm starting to see why people hate it. At a certain point the game becomes frunstratingly hard and that's when all the fun up and disappears.

But as far as presentation, music, and graphics the game is pretty cool.

But I would agree that it's not really a Top 10 game.

No Dreamfall: The Longest Journey? No Neverwinter Nights 2? They should have called this the top 10 console games.

Wow, a really shitty list. If Wii Sports was the best game released in 2006 I guess I'm done gaming.

Prey was fun, but wasn't even in my top 25 games from last year. Table Tennis?

Where is Okami, FF XII, Oblivion or Elite Beat Agents?

I haven't had as much fun playing this with three friends since Goldeneye came out on the N64. I agree with their assessment.

Definitely some interesting choices, I have no idea why Prey is on there. I haven't played enough of the other big games like Oblivion and Okami to judge though.
