South Park Complete 9th Season ---> 3/6/07

Didn't see a thread on this yet.

According to SouthParkStudios.com, the episodes should be:

Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina
Die Hippie, Die
Wing
Best Friends Forever
The Losing Edge
The Death of Eric Cartman
Erection Day
Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow
Marjorine
Follow That Egg
Ginger Kids
Trapped in the Closet
Free Willzyx
Bloody Mary

But didn't they get in trouble for Bloody Mary and never aired it again?

There was a lot of controversy over "Bloody Mary" and I don't think Comedy Central airs it anymore but there are several examples of episodes that CC no longer airs that have been presented intact on the DVD's.

As for whether or not there's a thread on this yet I dunno but it was announced a while ago so it wouldn't surprise me.

In any case, based on the last several releases we should get Season 10 when the second run of Season 11 starts (this release is roughly coinciding with the first run) so the show will be "caught up" and Season 11 should be available when Season 12 starts and so on and so forth.

They doing commentaries? Mini-commentaries are better than nothing, but full blown commentaries would be nice.

Long story short: "Bloody Mary" features a miraculously-bleeding statue of the Virgin Mary...

the "problem" is that the statue bleeds out of her ass.

Comedy Central pulled Bloody Mary once from the rerun schedule during December, purportedly because they wanted to be sensitive during the Christmas season. I don't know if they put it back in rotation.

They kept pulling it, but once they let "Trapped in the Closet" run during the Summer, they also gave a few airings to it as well, back in July.

Comedy Central has actually denied that they ever pulled it, but it seems like it's probably just CYA.

And the Pope said quote 'A chick bleeding out her vagina is no miracle. Chicks bleed out their vaginas all the time.'

Too funny.

I love any episode that pisses off the Catholic League(or to be fair any watchdog group). This was a great season, though i don't recall the death of cartman.

Its the one where all the kids are sick of him, so they all agree to ignore him to the point where he thinks he died. Butters however was not told to ignore him, so Eric believes butters can see his ghost.

I went ahead and bought it yesterday, but when I started watching Trapped in the closet with the commentary I was a little disappointed. Trey and Matt said they have talked enough about the episode that all they wondered was how R Kelly was still popular, and talked a little bit about John Travolta. I wanted to here them talk shit on Tom Cruise and Scientology, but it didn't happen.

That'd be redundant given that the episode already takes care of that.
