So I fired up Resistance this afternoon to try to get through the Cathedral level, and my PS3 told me my save game was corrupt!!! NOOO!! I noticed when I was playing it this morning, it was giving me some sort of error when I was trying to save. Anyone else had this problem? Is there an easy way to get back to where I was? (I did start over, and am actually fairly close to where I was, but if it happens again I'd rather just use a cheat to get back to the right level). Just to be safe, I copied my save game to my other 2 profiles on my PS3 - hope this actually works!

The folks on the Sony forum seem to think it's caused by updating your PS3 to a new version (1.3, 1.31, etc.) No fix as of yet, btw.

Could be that, it had been awhile since I played (before today), and I probably upgraded to 1.32 in the meantime.... so no more updates till I beat the game I guess. I peeked at a walkthrough, and it looks like I have a long ways to go... I'm playing fairly casually, and have the difficulty set to Hard.

Did you have to re-start playing from the beginning? Sorry to hear about your problems, that really sucks. It better not happen to me, I don't think my wife would understand why I would have to play non-stop for a day to get back to where I was.
OAN, does DVDTalk have a clan for R:FOM?

Yeah, I started over, but I'm almost back to where I was and it didn't take that long, even on hard. I realized The Cathedral level where I was is actually pretty early in the game! Lots to go, so I hope it doesn't happen again.
