DVD Talk review of 'Quantum Leap - The Complete Fifth Season'
I read Jeffrey Robinson's DVD review of Quantum Leap - The Complete Fifth Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=25847 and...
Jeffrey - has "Georgia" (Ray Charles version) been replaced in the final episode ("Mirror Image")? It would be in the very last scene where Sam decides to send Al back to Beth. I know the same song was replaced on the Season 1 DVDs, so I'm curious if it happened again here.

Good review. But I have to disagree with one thing. I think it was the best season of them all. I think the number of great episodes surpasses any other season, namely the ones most emphasized in the review: the Lee Harvey Oswald, the Trilogy, the Evil Leaper, the Civil War and the Finale comprise almost half the season. Granted, a few with "real people" such as Dr. Ruth, Marilyn and Elvis are a little silly and seem like a desperate attempt to avoid cancellation but that doesn't negate the brilliance of the others. I don't put LHO in that category because it's a very serious subject and I read that Bellisario has always had a fascination with the subject, not to mention how well it's done and the great twist at the end. I agree that the Evil Leaper should have been developed more and undoubtedly it would have been had the series continued. Come to think of it, that would be the best basis for a TV movie or miniseries if it is ever done.
Also, it's great to see R1 return to original music. The only season not available anywhere with original music is S4. One hopes that will be eventually rectified.

re music on this and other sets - I know Season 1 is totally fine on Region 1, but do I need to get Region 2 versions for other seasons in order to keep all the music?
i.e. this question is asked because of the comment that season 5 "Georgia" is there - is all the other music? It was awful on Season 2 Region 1.

What happened with S4?
Thanks for the update - I have S1 and the (BAD) S2.
Headed out to get S5 R1, and I'll work on getting an R2 or R4 S2/S3.
As for S4 - what's missing and what happened?
