Looney Tunes - Foghorn Leghorn
Does anyone know which Looney Tunes Golden Collection has the most Foghorn Leghorn cartoons? If you could point to a specific volume and disc, that would be great.

None of them has very many. Hopefully the next set will have a bonus disk (of course I figured this set would be the one with the bonus disk of foghorn leghorn, and got stupid speedy instead).
I think set 1 has 2: The Foghorn Leghorn and a Broken Leghorn, set 3 has 1: Walky Talky Hawky, and that's more or less it. So I guess the winner is set 1 with a whopping 2.

Were there that many Foghorn cartoons to start with? It seems like he was in a lot until I try to think of them, and then I come up with a very short list.
I think there were a couple where he tried to avoid the clutches of the "unattractive" hen, one where he tried to toughen up the Poindexter-type chicken kid, and seemingly 3 or 4 where he would spar with the dog on the short leash. Were there any others?

There are 28 cartoons between 1946 and 1963 with Foghorn Leghorn so 25 cartoons have yet to be released. Hopefully they have a disc full on the next set because he has been highly unrepresented so far.

Really, 28? Wow! I had no idea there were so many. I stand corrected!

Not a big fan of Foghorn Leghorn. He's good in small doses. I'm shocked at the negative reaction people are showing towards Speedy! I watched the whole disc in one sitting, and aside from the crappiness of the cartoons WB started producing in the 60's, these were the funniest cartoons on the set. You can't tell me that you don't love Slowpoke Rodriguez! Heresy!

I find Foghorn Leghorn much more funny than either Speedy or Wile E Coyote/Roadrunner, which WB has graciously dedicated a full disc to. With Foghorn, we get a story. With either Speedy or Roadrunner, we get slap-stick. Speedy and Roadrunner cartoons are very repetitive, one-trick ponies, while Foghorn can entertain with his language and dialog (very much like Bugs Bunny), and he's either interacting with Egghead or with that Dawg- I say, Dawg!

Speedy isn't slapstick, it's ethnic humor.
I agree that Roadrunner isn't deserving of an entire disc, compared to Foghorn. If you've seen one Roadrunner cartoon, you've seen them all. And if you've seen them all, you probably have a splitting headache right now.
Foghorn has that little Chickenhawk fella that's always dragging the dog by it's tail, mistaking him for a chicken. I love that guy.

Well, to be fair, Foghorn is a Southern stereotype as much as Speedy is a Mexican stereotype, but both are damn funny, and I wish someone would explain what is so offensive about either of them besides just the exaggerated accents -- I can't see how something like that alone can be so offensive.
