DDD: Warner SE DVDs 9.98 each

Just saw this listed on DDD and I don't think I've seen it here yet. Sorry if I just missed it. I think most of these titles were on sale at Best Buy not long ago at 19.99 B1G1, so this is basically the same deal. Still good if you missed out then, or they didn't have two you wanted.

Warner 2 and 3 disc Special Editions for 9.98 each. Prices good through January 5th.

Why isn't The Cardinal included in any of the Warner 2-disc SE sales dammit? I want that one.

The only one I want that I don't have is The Mission. Why no Mission?

I never consider it a threadcrap whenever someone points out where you can find it cheaper. Thanks.

Not even when someone mentions Columbia House? :-p

(I know a lot of people do consider that a TC.)

That's sure not a threadcrap in my opinion. I was thinking about picking up a couple, now I'll try to go to Costco first. Price will be basically equal after tax, but they'll be here immediately and I can be assured they won't be damaged in the mail.

Thanks, OP! Will finally pick up "Cuckoo's Nest". Lots of good titles here.

Steve McQueen & James Dean fans might save a little by getting the box sets that contain "Bullitt" & "Rebel". The sets can usually be picked up for around $16-$20 when you catch them on sale at Sam's & elsewhere (the McQueen set has 6 films, I believe, including the 2-disc Bullitt, The Getway SE, etc...making each movie $3 or less, depending on the deal you find. The Dean set contains Rebel Without a Cause, East of Eden, & Giant...around $6 per flick. These sets seem to keep going on sale, for some reason).

Otherwise, these are nice prices for single titles. Thanks again for posting the deal.

I don't mind seeing Costco prices mentioned but I would have to buy a lot more at Costco than I used to inorder to overcome the $50 annual fee. I prefer seeing deals from "free" locations over Costco/Sams.

Thanks!

I've wanted to pick up Unknown Chaplin for a while now, but couldn't justify the $5.95 shipping to Canada just for 1 title. Now it's worthwhile when combined with Cuckoo's Nest!

It's a shame the Batman and Batman Returns SEs aren't included.
Ah well, I'll pick them up eventually.
