50 Movie Packs $14.98 @ DDD

DDD has the various 50 Movie sets of public domain features for $14.98 each.
They list a 1/2/07 release date and price cut. Quality varies from OK to poor but that is to be expected for this price.

Thanks for the info - I noticed not every 50-pack shows up with the link. Another one I found is "Drive In Classics".

I have two of these sets - Classic Musicals, and Mystery Classics. The quality really varies as you go from movie to movie, from pretty awful to quite decent (not WB or Criterion quality of course, but definitely better than "watchable"). I've watched about half of each set, and already have discovered some excellent movies that I never had seen before - so if the genre interests you, it's definitely worth checking these out.

(The two sets I have are mostly all pre-1953 titles. Some of the other sets are heavily into post-1953 titles, and would probably drive me crazy with pan-and scan.)

What % of the movies in each set would be awful quality?

If you look up individual titles on Amazon quite a few of them have movie lists (and some even have "mini-reviews" of each movie).
