Midnight Special...what's on it?

Burt Sugarman Productions has released 9 DVDs of the pre-MTV music concert program, The Midnight Special (http://www.midnightspecial.com/). It's available via internet only, however there is no listing of the contents on all 9 DVDs. Does anyone have any information?

There's a customer service section where you can email questions. Maybe you can get a track listing. Looks like it's just a mishmosh of selected songs. I'd rather have complete shows but this could be interesting.

I used to watch this and In Concert back in the day.

The Midnight Special DVD Set contains an compilation of the original full length episodes of live performances from various entertainers, who'll appeared on the late night TV show, broadcasted in the 70s, and early 1980s.

No, the Midnight Special DVD's are comprised of separate performance clips from various shows - there are no complete full-length episodes on these discs. There are supposedly 16 discs in total that will be released in this series. The discs have been highly promoted on a late-night infomercial which is probably their highest sales profile, the website being only a secondary exposure.

Those lists are incomplete, only listing 7 of the performances on each disc. There are actually 15 full performances on each disc, not including the extras and comedy bits. I have the first three discs so far and there's a lot more artists on them than listed here.

Thanks for the info, guys. The actual footage of the Genesis appearance isn't hard to find, but I was hoping to find it on an official release. It would probably be on the 1973 disc if anywhere. Lots of good stuff there, even if it isn't full shows.
