Wal-Mart $4.88 sale

They're doin' it again. The sale is on Warner Bros titles, mostly. The below list is most incomplete. Please fill in the blanks.

Birth
Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter Is Dead
Empire Records
Enter The Dragon
Fear Dot Com
Frequency
I Am Sam
Just Cause
Lost Boys (first release)
Majestic, The
Money Talks
Mortal Kombat
My House in Ubria
Negotiator, The
Now And Then
Pleasantville
Pump Up The Volume
Risky Business
Rock Star
Sweet November
Strange Brew
Thirteen Ghosts
U.S. Marshals
Whole Nine Yards

To be honest the only title that sort of, kinda of is interesting (to me) is "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter Is Dead". I saw it on TV years ago.

Just was at my Wal Mart today, no $4.88 bin/stand... I'll have to check again this weekend. Would like to get Empire Records.

My Wal-mart didn't have ANY of these (checked 2). I wanted "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead". For those of you who saw it, was it in a snapper or a keepcase?

Snapper... as are most of the other titles. There may have been a title or two in a keep case but I did not notice any.

Found it at a certain Walmart tonight. I hate this location but figured they would have it. Picked up The Majestic (for myself) and 3000 Miles To Graceland (for my father).

In my local Wal-Mart (Kennesaw, GA), there was no $4.88 display, but there was a $4.50 (MGM/Fox titles) display and a $4.44 (mostly Paramount) display. The boxes of DVDs were stacked one on top of the other, so fully accessing the titles was difficult. The ones I snagged were:

Coming to America
Blue Hawaii
Valley Girl
Big Trouble in Little China
The Seven-Ups

Another cool title in the sale that I already have that is definitely worth a blind buy was the original Vanishing Point.

BJ's has these too, but they're $4.99. They also had the Val Lewton 2-packs for 6.99, and an 8.99 section that had the Jaws 30th 2 disc, Munich, Constant Gardener, Seabiscuit set, among other things.

Yeah, the WM near me had the same display. I remember also seeing Sunset Blvd., Beverly Hills Cop I and II, Four Feathers (Fool Screen), Ladies Man and a couple others I can't recall at the moment.

No Empire Records however... I'll have to check back next week, maybe they'll have another stand up.

Went to the other Wal-Mart near me.

They too have the sale as well as another display bin with additional $4.88 DVDs. Some of the other titles seen were:

Weekend At Bernies
Hart's War
Flight Of The Phoenix (Stewart version)
Down With Love (full screen)
The Siege

I took home Flight Of The Phoenix as as blind purchase. Is Hart's War any good?
