Quick Netflix Question

When you request a film with more than 1 disc, are you sent all of the discs, or just the feature disc? Do you need to request discs with the extras separately?

You just get the film, you have to rent the extras disc(s) seperately.

Of course if the film is split across 2 discs you will get both discs.

You need to select each disc individually but sometimes they have an "Add All" option when their are multiple discs.

Also, even though they send both discs at the same time, be warned that the discs are shipped in separate envelopes. Most of the time this won't be a problem, but there is a chance that one disc or the other might be delayed in the mail, disrupting viewing plans.

Another Netflix question:

When you cancel, is it immediate or do you still get rentals for the rest of the month you paid for?

I wanted to cancel last month but forgot my pay date and just missed it.

It officially gets cancelled once all the DVDs you have out are returned to them. To anwser your question, I don't think you get the rest of a month you paid for.

Am I right in assuming they do not offer porn?

They do not rent porn as in XXX films but they do have movies like 9 Songs, Baise Moi, etc... which show uncensored sex scenes including the happy ending(for lack of a better description).

They cancel your membership effective immediately, and I believe you have 7 days to get them their disks. I don't think they are super strict with the 7 days. When I cancelled, I got mine back in like 8-9 days, and there wasn't a problem.

Just cancelled tonight.
It's effective immediately, and they have to receive any outstanding disks within 7 days or else they'll charge you for them. Since months are prepaid, if you're going to cancel, might as well wait till the day or two before your bill date.

Another Netflix question since I just joined: Do they automatically send you the widescreen version, or do you have to request it?

From what I have seen they normally get the widescreen version and not the full screen version.

I have received very few full screen versions of films.
