Day Break - "What If They Find Him" - 12/13/06

"What If They Find Him"
Spoiler:
Hopper tracks down a major player in the conspiracy to frame him for Garza's murder. He also discovers that he must continue to heed the warning of the consequences of his decisions when his actions turn out to affect the day in the worst possible way.

Be sure to catch this one, folks; it's one of my favorite episodes. Many "Holy shit" moments herein.

I'm considering let this one sit on the Tivo until ABC figures out what they're doing with this show.

I'm going to watch this until the bitter end. I'm sure Finkpish can fill us in on how everything wraps up in case ABC doesn't show all the episodes.

Right now, the plan is still to pull the show after episode 8, which airs the last week of this month. Not sure what ABC is planning to do after that. They already have the 9PM timeslot booked in January with a couple of sitcoms, so there is the possibility that Day Break could move to 10PM or even move to another night, just to finish the show out. That is largely dependent on how well the ratings do in the next few weeks. If they improve, it could stay or at least be moved, but if they keep sliding like they have, chances are that'll be it. The ultimate decision won't be made until sometime next week, probably after they see how tonight turns out.

BTW, I didn't realize it from the show, but Victoria Pratt who plays Andrea Battle, is hot.

She's in this month's issue of Stuff.

It's sad that a show this entertaining can't find an audience.

And tonight's was, well... pretty damned entertaining. In nearly every aspect, it's one of the better shows of the season. Replacement as it may be, it manages to grab me and keep me there more than nearly any show of the fall has.

Regardless of what happens with the series don't miss these two episodes, they are easily the best so far. This show gets consistently better week after week.

I had to admit, I wasn't paying full attention to the episode last night, and it totally confused me. Can someone explain what happened with regards to:

Spoiler:
Moon Bloodgood's character? Was she the one shooting Adam Baldwin? Is she a part of the conspiracy?

Spoiler:
It was Hopper's sister who was shooting Adam Baldwin. I don't believe Moon had much to do in this episode.

To me it was also unclear and will probably be explained in future episodes.

Best episode so far, several unseen twists regarding the sister. I also loved it when he went to Detweiler's the first time and beat the snot out of him. Looking forward to whatever episodes ABC will allow to air.

Where did all the Lost fans go? Are people purposely boycotting this show because they think it pushed Lost back to Feb? Compared to the cockteasing that Lost does every week, this show should feel like a relief, I would think.

I think it lost more viewers this week because of the uncertainty of if the rest of the show will make it to tv.
