Forrest Gump regular-sized case question...

Hey folks, just saw the new version of the movie Forrest Gump that's in a regular-sized keepcase instead of the thick one, and was wondering if anyone who has bought this can tell me if it differs at all from the previous version. It still says "Disc 1" and "Disc 2" on the back, but I'm afraid they might have pulled a "Ray" and switched to a double-sided disc. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's the same but in a sexier 2 disc case.

Great news Will, thanks! Sexy is good!

Just in case, hope I didn't post anything wrong, use the wrong term, or disagree with you there. Still buds, right? 'kay, thanks, bye!

I bought the thick case version last year. And the discs were overlapping, which made the thick case pointless! And I hate overlapping dics. Does the new packaging have both discs in trays or are they overlapping still?

I'll just stick with my original, white double Alpha case.

Haha, no you didn't offend my posting sensibilities in any way, my answer was just short and to the point. Promise I'm not one of those "holier than thou" forum posters and didn't mean to sound snappy, but I figured I'd spit out what you needed to know in three seconds or less.

I had no idea what was happening until you pointed it out. I was like, "Why is this Mike guy all mad at Will? Is there some past history here or what?"

Oh forgot to mention, this dvd is damn good for being an earlier title. I remember getting this and really enjoying the extensive featurettes (which I seem to recall needing a "play all" function). I would rather have the slimline case, but what can you do. I know my friend got this and it had a hinge, but I wonder if its now in the silly side-to-side case that Paramount used for MI3, which would explain how light some of them feel.

When I bought mine a couple of months ago, that is the case I got. It sucks.
