Does anyone know of any good Battlestar Galactica deals out there?? I'm looking for all of the SciFi seasons on DVD.
Also, is the miniseries included on the first season boxset or is it only available separately?

Not sure about any deals, but yes, the miniseries is included within the 1st season boxset.
Fantastic show, and worth buying at any price.

One of my favorite shows.
These days, I am a complete cheapskate and rarely buy DVD's more than $10, but I have bought all the Battlestar Galactica sets just in the hopes that my small contribution will help keep the show going.
I know Borders prices are typically not the best, but with a coupon, like this (Borders 40% Off Coupon thread (http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=485860)), it would be a pretty good deal.

I haven't bought my copies yet, but I've heard rumors of good prices being available through the Columbia House DVD club (or maybe the TV club). You may want to poke around in the "DVD Clubs" sub-forum.

I bought all three of my sets by placing three separate orders using the $10 off of $30 Google checkout deal at buy.com. Don't know if that was the best deal, but I thought it was pretty good.

There was that "deal" thru Chase - sign up for the BSG Visa card & get S1 for free after 1st purchase(anywhere). Course, that's a "hit" on your credit history & there are other $ "offers" from other CC companies that might be better.

Yes, a 20 episode season 2 set and the Season 1 set (minus the mini series, which comes with R1). You can find them at CD-WOW.us. Look in the international forum for the discount link. You can find Season 1 or 2 for $26.95 a piece.

that's weird
checked out the site www.cd-wow.us and looked at the battlestar galactica series
there was one set "battlestar galactica season 2 - 6 disc set" selling for 68.95
then another set saying "the complete battlestar galactica season 6" also with 6 disc but selling only for 28.95(this is region 2 and 4 though)
it is strange these things are sold to the UK and Australia market at a much reduced price while here in US, the region 1 DVD of this series are much more expensive. I guess they figure there would be more demand for this show in the US and so trying to milk as many dollar as possible

You mean the series from the 80's? No. The current series is a reinterpretation of the same story. The difference is that the original series was mostly a kids show with all the typical 80's goofiness that implies. The current series is mostly an adult drama with all the typical double-O goofiness that implies.
