Used Orders With DVDPlanet made too late? No customer service
I ordered the Criterion John Cassavetes box used 17 days ago with 20% off from DVDPlanet. I have heard nothing from them since the initial order receipt. The status still says Back Order Qty 0. I've ordered other DVDs from them since then and received them fine already. I know it's a glitch with the system that it always says Used orders are back ordered, but I'm thinking it's also possible I really did make my order too late. I'm posting this here because I've already sent 3 e-mails to customer service in the past 2 weeks and heard nothing back.

Has anyone used their customer service phoneline before? It seems like quite a hassle to have to call them up to resolve this, but I've still heard nothing back and now I have been charged for it even though it hasn't shipped and still says backorder. I'd really just like my money back at this point if theres no chance it'll ship within the next week, I can get it for cheaper on Amazon now anyway.

I recommend you call. Not sure why you'd wait two weeks, especially if the emails weren't being responded to.
Cheers.

Nearly a month later I get this reply:
Very dissapointed my 50 bucks was in limbo for this long with no word from DVDPlanet. And the "Used items cannot be placed on order" response really doesn't make much sense.
Thank you for writing DVDPlanet!
We are sorry, Used items cannot be palced on order. We have cancelled your order and issued a refund in pay-pal. We are sorry for any confusion and inconvenience this has caused.
Please contact us if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,

Their site has definitely had some glitches recently and I think they must have sold the Cassavetes set to someone earlier. Then when you checked out with it, the system eventually recognized the OOS status and tried to place an "order" for it which is impossible for any used title. I've placed new orders that have included used DVDs to bring my totals over the $30 threshold and I hope they don't screw it up.
