Playing videos (be it Windows media, .flv, .realplayer)/mp3s screws with my connection. When I had XP Professional (Pentium II 400 MHZ, 15 Gig HD, 256 MEG Memory, 56 v.90 PCI modem), I could watch a video/listen to mp3s and search the Internet (using Dial-up that stayed connected for 11 consecutive hours) at the same time with no problem.

Now (Iím using Windows 2000, AMD 950 CPU, 260 MEG Memory, 56K BCM v.90 modem) it screws with my connection. It either disconnects or Iím still connected but I canít browse the Internet.

What gives? IS it ISP or PC (or both) related? Do i ditch dial up or upgrade to XP? Any one has a solution?
