What is this old movie?
I have been trying to remember an old movie that I saw as a kid. It was on tv and it was sometime in the 1970's. It was about a girl that came home after being gone for about a year, and she experiments with drugs. I think she just showed up one day - her mom found her asleep in her bed and was surprised to see her. There was one scene where she was on something at a party that her parents were giving at their home, and she ended up in the pool fully clothed. Her dad went in to rescue her and she snapped out of her drug haze and asked her dad what he was doing in the pool.

No, it wasn't an after school special (I loved those!) and it wasn't Helen Hunt because it would have been an actress in her 20s during the 1970's. Good ideas, though, thanks!
