Flat Out 2 - Vs. - Test Drive: Eve of Destruction
Ok I admit I love TDEOD. I play it alot with others and we love the events and its fun simplicity. Ive heard FO2 compares to this type of gameplay but how? Does it have demolition derby, trailer races, what? I cant seem to find any reviews that give good details on the little things.

I missed this thread the first time around, but I have been interested in picking up Flatout 2. I also loved TD:EOD, but was very disappointed in Flatout.

Well Im talking PS2. But they shouldnt differ per system should they?

I would compare FlatOut 2 to Burnout 3/4, imho. I love the Burnout series and I was looking for something similar on the PC and I got it with FlatOut 2. It's fast, it's pretty, and it's violent. Lots of fun. Not sure about Test Drive.

If you like TD:EOD, then you will not like Flatout 2. I bought the game for cheap on half.com after this thread reminded me of it.
It's a crappy racing game and the demolition derby part of the game really sucks.
If you really like demolition derby, I would recommend Auxillary Power's PC game Demolition Derby and Figure 8 race. It's not great, but it's the best Demo Derby game since the 1984 arcade game.
