On a more positive note...
Sexiest Bond girl ever == Jane Seymour (IMO)

Denise Richards(#1 worst) as "nuclear scientist" was funny, but let's face it...the people making this move knew that going in. She's easy on the eyes, that's what matters.
Denise Richards was horribly miscast, but it did allow for a great quip from Brosnan:
"I thought Christmas only comes once a year"

List seems pretty accurate to me.
I agree with most of the Best and Worst lists, although maybe not the order they're ranked.
My only issues would be with the following:
1) Halle Berry as one of the best Bond Girls. Jinx sucked. There's a reason they never did a spinoff movie with her.
2) Carey Lowell as one of the worst Bond Girls. The idea that she falls head over heels for Timothy Dalton's Bond was silly, but she's one of the better tough Bond Girls in the series. Certainly better than Jinx IMO. Hell, if they wanna rag on a bad Bond Girl in Licence To Kill, go with Talisa Soto's Lupe.
3) Tiffany Case as one of the best. Are you kidding me? She was the first truly wretched Bond Girl to come along.
4) Rosa Klebb is great......but she's a Bond villain, not a Bond Girl.

#1 was a no-brainer (in more ways than one!)
I'm surprised Teri Hatcher didn't make the list. Complete waste of a character.

Britt Ekland shouldn't be on that list for the reasons Geofferson mentioned.
Also, Holly Goodhead and Octopussy have (some of) the best Bond girl names.

I was a little bummed on how high they had Maryam D'Abo. I actually liked her character and um..I still think she's a cutie pie.

Lynn Holly Johnson in on the list?? -screwy-
For those that hate clicking thru EW page by frickin' page.
10. Maud Adams - Octopussy
09. Lynn Holly Johnson - For Your Eyes Only
08. Lois Chiles (Holly Goodhead) - Moonraker
07. Carrie Lowell - License to Kill
06. Britt Eckland - Man with the Golden Gun
05. Karin Dor (Helga Brandt) - You Only Live Twice  who?
04. Maryam d'abo - The Living Daylights
03. Corinne Clery (Corinne dufour) - Moonraker  who?
02. Tanya Roberts - A View to a Kill
01. Denise Richards - The World is not Enough
Where's Gloria Hendry or Kim Basinger?

I think the only one on that list that I agree with 100% (or can remember) was Tanya Roberts...but then the only thing i ever liked about "A View to a Kill" was the theme song.
Denise Richards wasn't *THAT* bad. She should still be on the list, but not at #1.
And the chick from "The Living Daylights" wasn't as bad as she is made out to be.

Where's Gloria Hendry or Kim Basinger?
I'm assuming they didn't use Hendry because she was a double agent. But then again, they included Helga Brandt (Haven't seen YOLT in a long time, but I don't remember her being in no more than 2 scenes)
Basinger wasn't included because Never Say Never isn't part of the "official" Bond franchise.

Surprised Madonna isn't on the list since she was in the last movie or are they just counting the main female in the movie.

Britt may have looked good, but her character (the world's most incompetent spy) was a complete idiot. If this movie had been released more recently, she would have been a lot higher on the list.
Personally, I don't think Maud Adams belongs on the list. I liked her character and she had a mature look to her that most Bond girls lack.

On the "Worst List", where's Grace Jones (May Day)?
And on the "Best List", what the hell is Halle Berry (Jinx) doing there? She is easily one of the worst Bond Girls ever!
UAIOE

My limited memory of "View to a Kill" (which i continue to try and forget) recalls May Day as being a villaness/henchwoman.
Which may not make any difference, but the fact remains that Grace Jones is pretty damn scary.
Teri Hatcher was a really pointless Bond girl as she wasn't even around long enough to amount to much of anything.

I've always interpreted "Bond Girl" to mean "A Girl 007 Banged" - and, yes, he did unfortunately bang May Day.
(And, BTW, Onatopp is in there and she was a villainess too.)

Melina Havelocke has always been my favorite (neck a neck with Xenia
Onatopp)

Famke Jsnnsen

Denise Richards - definitely odd casting but easy on the eyes
Halle Berry - again, not great casting but easy on the eyes

Exactly. Grace Jones would have been #1 on my personal list, and Halle Berry would have been in the top 10. I actually liked Lynn-Holly Johnson a lot...guess it's that whole "barely legal" thing. :)

Not that i'm blind to Richards inability to act, but it's quite difficult to take her criticism seriously when early James Bond movies were filled with gorgeous women and most couldn't even speak English.
Maybe Denise Richards just needed someone to dub her voice. -smile-

I agree, the only problem I had with her is that she really exposed how old Roger Moore was at that point and made him seem like someone's dad and not the suave ladies man that 007 is reknowned to be. A big part of the problem was that they actually wrote it that way, with 007 acting all embarassed by her advances. You just know Brosnan's Bond would have hit that and never looked back. :)

No Fiona Volpe on the good list? WTF?!?!?!? Hottest and most badass until Xenia.
Holly Goodhead and Jinx Johnson should be switched on those lists. Neither was very good, but at least Holly has a great name going for her. Better yet, put Fiona in the Jinx slot and don't include the good doctor on either list.

Eva Greens Vesper just vaulted to the top of my 'Best' list after seeing CR last night.
The others, many of whom I've liked, just pale in comparision. Vesper comes off as an honest to God real character and not just a concept for a character. It helps that the chemistry is there with Craig, and the relationship is written at a high level.

The irony in FYEO is that Carole Bouquet is actually less than a year older than Lynn-Holly Johnson. Melina Havelock was always one of my favorites though.
My two favorites, however, are Tracy in OHMSS, and Domino in Thunderball. Personally, I always thought Claudine Auger was the prettiest of all the Bond girls.
As far as Halle Berry is concerned, she just seemed like a repackaging of Wai Lin in Tomorrow Never Dies. I preferred Rosamund Pike.

Then by your definition Onatopp would not technically be a Bond girl. They stopped at "foreplay".

No way - Michelle Yeoh rocked! She's very good looking, has a certain presence about her that comes across in her performance (even though her English isn't great), she comes across with a lot of class, and she knows how to KICK ASS!
What more do you need?
She's near the top of my list along with Ursula Andress and Carole Bouquet.

Tanya Roberts easily wins my "Worst Bond Girl," Award due to her HORRIFIC performance in the elevator in the burning building.
