Are Most People Pre-Ordering Ultimate Superman @ DDD?
I was thinking of ordering the superman boxset cuz that seems like a pretty good deal right now with the 20% off. TOtal would be around 56 bucks for the 14 disc set. But then got to thinking, what are the B&M stores going to be offereing for incentives? Has anybody pre-ordered it or are they waiting?

I myself expect to see this set for around $50 from the 3 major stores I report on.
Costco may beat that $50 tag as well.

I myself preordered the set at Amazon on the last day the A9 discount was working. So I have it for just over $68 bucks, plus just got offered Amazon Prime free for a month, so upgraded my shipping as well Sixty-eight bucks will do.

A 14 disc set at 50% off MSRP on release date? Sounds too good to be true, but I'll cancel my Amazon preorder in a heartbeat if it turns into reality

If DDD allowed 20% preorders I thnk most folks would have ordered it. Amazon at $69.99 is beat slightly by DDD but Amazon seems to send these these things out by priority mail even when free shipping is selected. A local retailer would have to be under $64 or so for me to beat the sales tax add-on.

Or some possible deal of buying Superman Collection and Superman Returns together for a lower price
Oh wait, Superman Returns is included in the set.... my mistake.

They could always add a poster, or lobby cards, or some extra disc for Superman Returns, or a Superman figure...who knows with those marketing people.
I am waiting until Speedy posts this weekend in the Bargain section to make a decision.
