Sounds like...
Spoiler:
...the U.S. version is revisiting a major plotline from the U.K. version - if so, we know how it's "really" going to turn out.

Interesting that this is happening when it seems like Michael's been closing a lot of big deals this season(plus the one last season at Chili's). I wonder if it has anything to do with Jan still feeling bitter at Michael choosing Nancy Wells' character over her.

I've missed the last two eps.

I need to go over to iTunes and grab them and watch them before this airs.

Especially the last one. There was some important storyline development.

Here is the link to the commercial for this episode. There is a spoiler in it.

Ever since Jim went to the other branch, I was assuming that it was going to go in that direction eventually.

Did Steve Carell thin out his hairline in the first season of this show?

That was his natural hairline. These days it looks like they're using some spray-on crap or something.

Check out the first episode to see a very noticeable difference in his hairline.

I thought it was either just a part of the character or that Steve parted it differently.

I thought his earlier hairline (looked like plugs, to me) was done with make-up or something to give a clue to Michael's underlying vanity/shallowness. I hadn't noticed Steve Carell's hairline looking that bad before that (or since).

You may wish to visit dhmac's spoiler a few posts up and then put on your thinking cap.

Course we don't know for sure, but dhmac is probably 99% on target...

I bet that something happens between Jim and Karen before they transfer to the Scranton branch.

I really, really like Karen; there's just something about her. As much as I love Pam, too, I think I'd rather see Jim go with Karen.
