The O.C. 11/8/06 and 11/9/06 two new eps...
didn't know this until a minute ago, but yahoo! tv is listing a new episode tonight and another new one tomorrow. Fox is already burning the OC off? lol.

More than likely, Wednesday will be the new day for The O.C., especially since Lost has vacated the 9 p.m. EST timeslot for the next 13 weeks after tonight. Just about anything not CSI/DoND was going to get slaughtered going up against Grey's Anatomy on Thursdays.

Bad BAD advertising, today I heard that after Bones was going to be Some new game show about winning money.
Looks like Fox is trying to kill the OC, (well its pretty dead already but still)
On second thought..moving OC to wednesdays is just genius, since well, Lost is not running for 3 months.

Yeah, I read just the opposite. I heard that Schwartz was actually more involved this season than he was in seasons 2 or 3. Season 1 was somewhat outside the box and very interesting to watch. Seasons 2 and 3 just felt like the same plots over and over. Throw in an arbitrary wrench in the works to ruin one of the relationships between the "core four". So far, surprisingly enough, I'm enjoying season 4.

Josh Schwartz was in negotiations with The CW to write and produce a pilot for 'Gossip Girl.' This was back in August though, so I don't know if anything happen with it.

Great episode last night -- much better than last week's.
The Summer/hippie shit is really irritating though.
Loved the appearance of Steve-O as the drunk marine too.

Looks like the ratings still sucked on Wednesday. It was T-12th in the 18-49 demographic. At least it beat the CW's One Tree Hill which was 13th.

I didn't know about it until, like I said in post #1, about 2 hours before it started. And if I didn't know about it, the average fan most definitely won't. Not cool.

I saw plenty of adds for the "Special Two Night O.C. Event!" on Fox this week, on multiple night, just about every other commercial break - so it wasn't like they weren't letting people know.
I think one problem may be that a lot of people with DVR's/Tivo are just forwarding through the commercials, or skipping them outright - so of course you wouldn't see it then. I know I've been gulity of this before.
The main thing to kill it in the ratings was the "Fall finale" of LOST - which was the "must see" show in that time slot Wednesday night.
Other than that, the show was pretty good, and showing signs of it former glory. Just give us more Taylor, please, as she's very much become a positive of watching in more ways than one. Hated her at the begining of last season - now I'm always hoping for a TT fix.

BINGO, Foxed waited to the last second to promote this thing. On Wednesday on the radio, they we're still saying..'some game show' after Bones.
THE DAY OF.
Honestly if fox Kills the OC, it just means there is another slot that they need to feed.
What fox needs to do is put the OC in a favorable timeslot, and make sure Josh Schwartz is back on full time. If he is, I think he can pull the OC out of it.

So people have monday or tuesday to see the commerical, Fox already only does 2 hours of programming on both of those days.
I saw ONE commerical during House. That was it.
Followed up by the confusing RADIO adds still saying game show after bones.
