FS: first 11 Disney Treasures tins (sealed)

I bought the first 11 Disney Treasures tins thinking that I would collect the whole series. I switched careers (into teaching) and didn't have the money to keep going. Now, I find I'd rather buy a new computer than continue to hold onto these. Everything is new in the original tin. Mickey Mouse in Living Color I has a small dent near the top edge of the tin (came to me that way from Amazon.com). Everything else looks mint. All of them still have the Buena Vista shrinkwrap on them.

I would be most interested in selling all 11 as a set. I think the set is probably worth $500. I will sell all 11 for $450.

Amazon has the complete set listed here. I have everything from Mickey Mouse in Living Color I to Tommorowland.

Thought I would gauge interest here before putting them on eBay.

Any interest in breaking up the set? Looking for just Mickey in Living color V1 and silly symphonies.

Well, sure I would consider it. I'm going to wait a few days to see if there's interest on the whole set first. I might try listing the set on eBay too because I potentially save money on fees with one big transaction instead of several smaller auctions. If I don't see interest on the set, I'll let you know that individual titles are available and I'll start taking offers on those.

Weldon, if you are going to sell them individually, forum rules are that you need to name prices. The forum doesn't allow "best offer" or "make an offer" type sales.

I've been exchanging emails with vballboy51, but I haven't received any emails from you. Which DVD's were you interested in?

To everyone - I strongly prefer Paypal. I'm a premier member so I can take credit card payment via Paypal if you like. I only require that I ship to a confirmed account and a verified address.

Not sure what to tell you, but I'm not getting your emails. I just sent a test message to myself using the "send weldon an email" link by clicking on my username next to my post.

You can try emailing me direct at weldon (at) dodd (dot) org

Mickey Mouse in Living Color 1 has been sold. The rest of the titles are still available.

And yes, Mickey Mouse 1 had a small dent that I mentioned in the top post. Goofy also has two small dents near the top and the bottom right corner. I apologize for not mentioning those, but I didn't notice them until I saw the pictures on the web.

Any chance any of these will be listed somewhere like eBay, Amazon, etc.?

This seems a little silly, but I never got around to listing these on eBay. I'll sell the individual titles at 15% off the prices I listed last year, or the whole kit of 10 DVD's for $350 (another 10% off).

If I don't sell them here, the will be on eBay after the new year (or my wife will really kill me this time.

You're right, I should put more effort into this...

$38 - Walt Disney Treasures - Disneyland USA
$68 - Walt Disney Treasures - Silly Symphonies
$51 - Walt Disney Treasures - The Complete Davy Crockett Televised Series
$63 - Walt Disney Treasures - The Complete Goofy
$42 - Walt Disney Treasures - Mickey Mouse in Black and White
$29 - Walt Disney Treasures - Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studio
$25 - Walt Disney Treasures - Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Volume Two
$25 - Walt Disney Treasures - The Chronological Donald, Volume One (1934 - 1941)
$25 - Walt Disney Treasures - On the Front Lines
$25 - Walt Disney Treasures - Tomorrowland: Disney in Space and Beyond

Total $391 for all 10 individual titles. You can buy all 10 in one purchase for $350. Shipped Media Mail to the lower 48. Additional shipping options available at buyer's request / expense.

Will you be willing to ship to Canada? I'm in the good trader list.

Absolutely. We'll just have to figure out what the actual cost is compared to US Media Mail. I haven't done trades here (well, I sold the Mickey Mouse DVD), but I'm "wdodd" on eBay. You can reach me at weldon [at] dodd [dot] org to work out details.
