Don't forget BB has the bonus disc, plus they have 2 for 20 deals (eh, not so great) and 2 for 25 deals (that's what I'm doing! $2.01 extra for another DVD is OK by me!)

Keep in mind that the Target exclusive 3-pack includes the "original" versions of all 3 M:I films. So that means the non-anamorphic version of the first M:I, the first edition of M:I-2 (which isn't much different from the 2006 SE version) and the regular version of M:I-3.

I knew MI3 came out on the 30th, but it never occurred to me that it was a Monday. Why is that?

Just an FYI, the Best Buy in DC had a sticker of $19.99 for the 2-Disc Special Edition, including the third Bonus disc. This might be a local, or only some stores error, but they definitely price-matched the $22.99 to $19.99 for the SE+bonus. This might be the best offer yet.

Best Buy in Chicago (North & Clybourn) had the same issue with the 2 Disk sticker at $19.99 plus bonus disk. I noticed when I walked out of the store paying the $22.99 price. Then I remembered I had $3 in McDonalds Bucks plus $10 in Reward Zone stashed in my bag. They allowed me to return the $22.99 one, re-buy at $19.99 -$3.00 - $10.00 - end price $6.99!!

Yeah! McD's and BB Reward Zone!!

I saw the 2 disc edition labeled as $19.99, but I bought 1 disc for $14.99. I think the other disc doesn't have something good on it and not worth $5.00.

Same at Los Feliz, CA. Those stickers are created by the studios at Best Buy's request. They must get pissed when the price is wrong.

That unexpected $3.00 discount made me get the 2-disc when I had intended to get the regular.

Doesn't seem likely. I thought it wasn't working yesterday because it was a pre-order but it isn't working today either. Anyone else got it working? The Google Checkout promotion ends tomorrow, right? Thanks.

sunovabitch....i returned to my local BB tonight to get the price adjusted to the $19.99 that was on my package (i bought it in the morning but didn't realize the sticker until later that day), and found the store removed the price tag from all the 2-disc editions. oh well.

If you live in the North West and have a Fred Meyer close by, the 2-disc version is $24.95. There is currently a $3 off coupon on DVD's above $13.99, which brings it down to $21.95. But there is also an in-store coupon that gets you a free DVD of "The Saint" with Val Kilmer when you buy either version of MI3. So if you don't have "The Saint" it makes it a pretty cheap deal.

If you live near Everett WA the BB store there had many copies of the 2 disc set with the bonus disc. The bad news is that they were not marked as $19.99. I took advantage of the 2 for $25 deal on got Face Off.

Of course now Face Off SE will finally be anounced.

Going tomorrow when I get paid to pick up the 2 disc set. Is it worth it to go to Best Buy and get it there just to get the extra disc? If the extra disc isn't worth it, I'm just going to pick it up when I go to Costco over the weekend. And why didn't in their 2 for $20 or 2 for $25 deal didn't they have any of the other M:I films as part of the deal. It seems odd that they didn't, seeing as I still need the first film to have the complete set.

Because that might have moved people away from purchasing the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE Ultimate Missions Collection trilogy boxed set, also released Monday.

Could someone help clarify this... does the M:I Ultimate Missions Collection Trilogy 5-DVD set have the exact same content as the previous M:I 1 & 2 Special Collectors Edition 3-DVD set + the M:I 3 2-DVD edition?
