Doctor Who on Sci-Fi 10/27: "Rise of the Cybermen"

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The Doctor, Rose and Mickey return to 2006 after the TARDIS malfunctions, but discover that they arrived in an alternative timeline, where Earth is a fascist society and Rose's parents are still together. This Earth, however, is under threat of invasion from the Cybermen!

For those who haven't seen this, avoid reading anything about it (even the synopsis on your DVR) as most publicity for this episode spoils a nice surprise in the first few minutes.

Yeah, I really liked this two-parter for bringing back the Cybermen.

Jeezz... I still love this Doctor Who, and I'm nowhere near close to not watching it anymore, but....

This epsiode was bboooorrrrriiiiinnnngg.

I'll bet if they tried a little harder they could have tightened this 2 parter up into one episode.

I found this to be an interesting episode and liked all the little touches. Didn't like the overly drawn out meeting between Mickey/Rickey and his grandmother. Liked everything else.
