Which is the better Bruce Campbell show?
I'm going to give either Jack of All Trades or The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. a shot. Since they were both short lived with less than 25 episodes a piece, I can justify sitting through them even if they are absolutely terrible. For that reason, I suppose I could simply watch both shows, but I’d rather stick it out with one of ‘em for the near future. Campbell is the man and I have heard that both shows provide good campy fun with some great one-liners thrown in. Anyway, which of these should I bother with, if either at all?

I watched the first disc of Brisco County recently and wasn't very impressed. I remember the show being a lot better. The acting is painfully bad and it just isn't as funny as I recall.
I remember liking Jack of all Trades when it was on tv though, so I'd go with that.

I enjoy both shows but Brisco is far better. The goal for Brisco was "just under over the top" while Jack of All Trades is decidedly over the top. Brisco has more heart to it and definitely has more drama elements to it, and I think was just pulled off better. It's a lot more expensive (unless you're renting) but you do get more episodes and the episodes are an hour long compared to a half hour for Jack.

It's no contest. "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr." was top-notch and "Jack of All Trades" was completely mediocre.
I tore through the "Brisco" set in less than a week. When it came time to watch "Jack" I watched one episode and realized it was even worse than I remembered it and have never watched any of the subsequent episodes on DVD.

Another vote for Brisco.
I only occasionally watched it when it was on (I just never got the habit), but I got Brisco County anyway, and I really enjoyed it (other than it made me sad it didn't go on longer).
Since it was so good, I decided to get Jack of All Trades--I thought it was pretty mediocre (and I got really, really, really tired of that song).

"Brisco" definitely. There were a couple of episodes that I didn't care for, but overall it rocked. Strangely, I could really have done without the sci-fi aspect. Normally, I would be all over it.
