Maybe she had a very small part and you didn't notice her? I'll be downloading the episode soon, so I'll be on the lookout for her, but that's definitely a bit disappointing that she didn't have a big role.

Does anyone actually watch this show? Summer wasn't in it.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. Nice to see Dean finally break down regarding his father's death. I had wondered if he realized he was probably the reason his dad died.

In regards to the episode, I didn't care much about the whole vengeful spirit/zombie aspect but I was glad that we finally found out what was bothering Dean so much. Very few "light" moments in this episode although I liked the bit with Sam watching porn while Dean was away.

A little digging found out what happened to Summer. You can find the whole story here. The short story is that she wasn't able to do the episode for whatever reason and the marketing folks never got around to updating the data.

A decent episode, made better by Dean's confession at the end.
BTW, whatever happened to their dad's kick-ass truck? It was pretty prominent at the end of Season One, but disappeared without a trace after the car crash (when they could've really used it with the Chevy Impala out-of-commission for a while).

Pretty good episode, although the plot was kinda cliche, i.e. boyfriend cheating on girl, friend of girlfriend secretly in love with her, etc.
The ending part with Dean kinda made the episode make a lot more sense, especially Dean's outburst towards the girl's father that 'what's dead should stay dead'.
Next week's episode looks great as well.

Supernatural always to seem to deliver solid episodes (at the least). And I like that they're still emphasizing stand-alone stories for the most part. I was worried at the start of this one it would be a J-horror knockoff (like when we saw zombie-girl's reflection in the tv with the hanging black hair and white gown). But they turned it around to a nice little variation on the zombie story.

ok...i know it's tough to find original 'boogeymen' to build an episode around after x-files was on the air for so many years....but i didn't really dig the zombie chick. i mean...i dug her....boo-yeah...but didn't think she worked all that great as a zombie chick. maybe should had her with a limited time-span so she could look a bit more dead and decayed as the show went on or something.
not just a pastey bitch with a killer head twist move. the interaction between the brothers at the end did kinda save this ep....but i wanted a bit more.
