Walmart Return Policy

I just picked up The Break-Up (FULLSCREEN) edition by accident, and I already opened the shrinkwrap. If I still have the reciept, does anyone know if walmart will exchange it for the WIDESCREEN version?

Thanks!

Yes, they should allow you to exchange it. Just tell them you grabbed the wrong version. They'll probably just re-shrinkwrap it and put it back on the shelf.

Tell them that it's defective and grab the WS off of the shelf. They probably won't notice the difference, but if they do, tell them that you would rather have the WS. If you don't tell them that it's defective, they might give you grief for opening up the shrinkwrap.

I could see them giving you more grief if you only wanted a full refund. They'd think you just took it home to copy/burn somehow.

I've made this same mistake and returned the DVD with no problems.
