High Anxiety OAR?
"High Anxiety" has been airing on FOX Movie Channel lately. When it starts, a disclaimer appears stating that this film has been modified. It has been formatted to fit this screen.
The movie then plays, but it is in widescreen format, looks as if it's 1:85:1.
Is this a mistake on FMC's part or has it been cropped?

According to the IMDB, 1.85:1 is correct.
Does it play the whole way through the movie in widescreen or just the opening credits? I know some networks do this, because the titles tend to run off the screen in pan and scan. If it is shown completely in widescreen, then the disclaimer might just be one that they tack on to everything, whether it is accurate or not.
