powerleveling Xbox gamerscores?

http://www.levelmy360.com/

This is one of the most retarded things I can recall seeing in recent memory. If anyone I know ever does this, I will personally kick some ass.

LMAO! $300 for 3000 gamerscore. I could rack up 3000 gamerscore in all of a couple hours with some of those early sport's titles. Those prices are insane. Plus I bet they use Account Recovery as well which could add 3000 points in a matter of minutes.

On a side note, someone is selling their gamertag, brimming with gamerscore, on Ebay: Link

That's absolutely ridiculous. The gamerscore feature is supposed to reflect your skills and accomplishments in games. Paying other people to get points for you kind of defeats the purpose.

We need to enact a retard rule where people can be publicly chastized for doing stupid shit.

Wow. Microsoft should crack down on this... Getting rid of it would be better for everyone, especially the people dumb enough to pay for it.

I bet they use the memory card transfer kit as well. Open up a save and get x amount of points.

The whole thing is absurd. I can see a neighborhood kid doing this for $20, but $300 is asinine.

I thought about doing this with a friend of mine when the 360 was launched. We thought that it would be stupid and nobody would pay for it.

We were wrong.

Aren't some of the Xbox Live matchings setup based on your gamerscore? So the tard who buys this jumps into an online game with people way above his/her level and gets stomped.

But somehow I doubt the person who would pay for this is going to bother with competing online at all.

I don't think any of the game look at gamerscore. Some games have a skill ranking, COD2 and UNO for example. Either way its just plane stupid.

How lame of a person do you have to be to be so into gaming that your gamerscore is that important to you, yet be so crappy at games that you can't boost your score yourself?

I'm still confused about what people would gain from this. I think my gamerscore is around 7000, which far inflates my abilities, because I pretty much suck at everything that's not sports related. So they powerlevel up to 30,000 so people think they're the best, then get their asses kicked?

Probably the same kind of person that cheats at matchmaking Halo 2 to boost their level. Another meaningless number that, in theory, should have been a gauge at how good or poor of a player a person is.

Ugh, you mean when I finally got around to renting madden 2006 the other day and boosted my gamerscore by 1000 in one day with only playing 2 games I could have done this without actually working that hard? What a joke.

BTW, yes I know I am a gamerscore whore, but only a small one, it's the only cheesy points I have earned yet. I think.

This reminds me of the heyday of Ultima Online when people would trade virtual weapons, armor, houses, etc on ebay for real-life money. Some people would pay thousands of dollars for a house in the Ultima Online world.

Yup. It's funny to see people act like it's something new and amazing. Sadly, this type of thing will probably always be around.

Nothing at all. Gamerscore is just the total accumulation of your total Achievements that you have unlocked. It serves no purpose other than bragging rights that you have a higher score than others.

That's pretty pathetic.
