General Season 3 focus will be on the Others and how they got to the Island and what they are doing there. I'd like to see some additional Orientation films this year.
The rumor is that the S3 premiere has a very "pilotish" feel to it, a sort of "where are we and what's going on?". I'm all for it.

I will leave this thread open for now, since this is the season premiere (and we can all use a DVR reminder). However, in the future, please hold off on starting the thread until at least 24 hours before it airs. This episode will be a very long thread and we don't want 5 pages of "Can't wait!" before the episode even airs. Please post judiciously until you have seen the episode.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The typical Lost thread is about nine pages long:
1. Three pages of "Can't wait!"
2. Three pages of live commentary (mostly "OMG!" and "WTF?")
3. Three pages of speculation about what will happen next week.
Any attempts to circumvent or disrupt this Holy Triumvirate may end in disaster.

5. Three pages of "Damn TIVO cutoff the last two minutes. What did I miss?"

Stupid Hearst-Argyle decide my local calbe company needs to pay them for HD content after 2+ years of it being free, so I will miss this one in HD. And my local ABC has the worst HD transmission in the city, and the only local one you can not get by my house, w/o one of those big-ass ugly roof antanaes.
One more reason I wish Swearengen would have taken out 'ol George.

Can't Wait, Can't Wait, Can't Wait?????????
Of course you can wait! I can wait. Why? Because I have to wait! We all have to wait! Get over it, it's just a tv show!

"Either quit complaining or quit watching the show!"
"Hey Canada, use spoiler tags until it's aired in the US!"
"The only thing worse than the people who complain constantly are the people who constantly complain about the complainers."

This premiere looks to be exceptional. I caught the first minute and a half on ABC.com and I was on the edge of my seat. Those who have seen it have voted an average 9.5 for this episode on TV.com ... think about it, about the only LOST episodes higher than this are the finale last year, and "Lockdown". Last years premiere was 9.4!
