And not available online or for instore pickup (at least for my local stores).

Well, never did find it for $80, but I bit at $100 - $50 MIR (or $49.99 A/R). Seems like a heck of a deal for a speaker system that sold for $170 last year and still is $120-$130 at most stores. Reviews have been pretty good online, though apparently the set-up lacks good base response. Anyway, I'll try it out in the bedroom and post my opinion later if anyone's interested. Thanks OP for the info.

I was able to get it for the 79.99 price + $50 rebate. The availability online is hit or miss from what I've seen. I've been using it since last week. It's certainly not what I would use as my primary music source, but it works just fine at your desk or in the bedroom. The remote control, ability to sync to your computer, and aux input to use with other players than ipods are big bonuses.

I'm enjoying it, but I can't seem to turn it on with the remote after it goes into shut-down charging mode. Am I doing something wrong?
