Xbox game reccomendations?

Okay, I love video games, but for the past few years I haven't owned any game systems myself. I always play them at my friend's places. Recently they bought a 360, so they're being extremely generous and just giving me their regular Xbox for free. Great friends, I tell ya!

Anyway, i'm trying to figure out some games I should get. I know i'm getting "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey", because I played half of the game already and I absolutely loved it. I really enjoy it because it feels like a movie with a really interesting story. I also love all the Resident Evil games (not for Xbox, I know), and the Silent Hill games. So, I like Survival Horror, and also role playing stuff like Dreamfall (King's Quest 6 was a favorite of mine as a kid).

Based on that info, what games for Xbox do you think I might enjoy?

You would probaly like Fable, it's pretty cheap now that it's been out for a while and is IMO the best RPG type game that's available on XBOX, Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4 are also on XBOX.

Games are cheap, especially used. Why limit yourself to two genres? You'd be missing a lot of great games.

With that I give you(not in any order):

1. Chronicles of Riddick
2. Prince of Persia
3. Beyond Good & Evil
4. Lego Star Wars
5. Burnout Revenge
6. Halo/Halo 2
7. Project Gotham Racing
8. Knights of the Old Republic
9. GTA series
10. Ninja Gaiden

Might as well give you my usual list of recommendations. I was looking for the "best" games on the system to catch up when I got my system recently:

FPS:
1) Halo + Halo 2
2) Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (more strategy based TPS)
3) TimeSplitters

RPG:
4) Fable
5) Jade Empire
6) Morrowind: GOTY Edition
7) Star Wars: KOTOR I + II

Racing:
8) Burnout 3

Sports:
9) MVP Baseball 2005
10) ESPN NFL 2k5

Other:
11) Lego Star Wars I & II
12) GTA: San Andreas
13) Ninja Gaiden Black
14) X-Men Legends I

Those all come pretty much recommended from me, and nearly all are $20 or less.
