Wow, only $14 for the CE of X3? I guess I'm going there to pick that up

Thanks Speedy!

Edit: Just looked at the Target exclusive... might just pay the extra $9 for the alternate endings and the other stuff.

Mistype on my part.

The regular edition of X3 also has the 3 alternate endings and 21 deleted scenes according to the CC ad.

The actual DVD of X3 is the same no matter what deluxe, collector's, or exclusive title is attached to it.

Sweet, thanks for the prices.

Just a heads up, Circuit City also has a X3 sample disc for free (you're supposed to buy a advertised dvd to get it, but the guy just gave it to me for free) and it has a $3 coupon in there either the Single Disc, CE, or Trilogy pack.

Little Mermaid & Thank You For Smoking for me (crappy price on the latter at CC). I'm waiting for X Men 3.5 even though I could get this disc for $10.99 with the $3 off coupon. Sorry Fox but no double dipping on it for me. Thanks for the prices Speedy.

EDIT: just re-read your post are you saying 123456 are all shown or just 6?

To me, the ad's wording makes it appear that all sets of a pictured series is available at that price point.

Especially since they only show 1 season of Sex and the City.

Just my familiarty with these prices threads for about a year makes me suspect that I might be right.

If that's the case, this will be a great price for season 8 *crosses fingers*

#1 - #6 are shown with #6 being shown as a Homer head version.

I back tracked the seasons by color matching at Amazon.

I am sure this question has been asked before, but I don't know the answer so here it goes.

I have a BB & CC that are across the street from each other about 20 minutes away. I get a BB flyer which Wal-Mart price matches. However I do not get CC flyer. If I want these CC prices can I print off the web page and would walmart match that do you think?

It usually depends on the store. Some require an actual ad from the store and others do not. As long as the store logo web address and item price are clearly listed, I would think they would probably do it with a little bitching if necessary on your part.

Whenever I want to price match CC at Best Buy and sometimes Wal*Mart, I just stop by and pick up a flier from the CC lobby.

Wal*Mart in my area always requires an actual ad.

Just so everyone knows, there's an SE of X-Men 3 coming soon after this initial release. It'll have a lot more behind-the-scenes stuff instead of just a few deleted scenes.

Holy cow! Great ad, and I was hoping on saving some cash for the Wii... but those prices on Mulan and Cinderella will never be beat, and I just hadn't bothered to get them yet. Plus Little Mermaid, and also great prices on Beck and the Killers cds.. AND I was going to get Mario vs Donkey Kong anyway, but I guess I'll just wait a week!

I'd do that if I could, but its just not possible to pick up a flyer from the CC store. The Wal-Mart is just close enough that I can take the taxi or have someone stop by and pick it up for me.

Thanks Speedy & waylonsmithers for the info. I will call to see what my local wal-mart will accept. If it comes down to it, I may bitch a little and hope that helps!

It looks like DVD Price Search is wrong when it says Three's Company S8 is coming out on 10/10. Amazon agrees with 10/3.

On the 31st day (seriously) after I bought Three's Company S7 for $17.99 at BBY, DDD had their 2-for-1 Anchor Bay sale making them $9 per season (of course preorders weren't included so season 8 was excluded). Now BBY will have the same deal for another season + season 8 which I want. The only problem after seeing the DDD sale is I feel severely ripped on Three's Company having paid about $17.99 for each season. If I buy S8 with S7 (which I don't need), is eBay the best place to try to get some money back on it (I doubt I'd get much)? I wonder if it's worth much as a used trade-in anywhere?

Thanks for the warning on X-Men 3 2-DVD edition coming out later. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'll pass on the CE and just rent it. I'd rather have a lower price or a 2nd disc of extras than a comic book.

Actually, Cinderella (2-DVD) was $8.77 at Fry's and Mulan (2-DVD) was $8.99 - $5 Disney gift card coupon = $4.99 at Best Buy last year, I believe. I haven't considered $12.99 a good price on any DVD for the last couple years, but occasionally I break my rule and go up to $15.99 on something I really want, and The Little Mermaid is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm still tempted to hold out for a Black Friday sale on it, though.
