Not really sure where this topic goes so I'm putting it here.

Ok so I want to put another tv in my room so I can watch two different football games at once, I have Directv and I don't want to get another reciever (too much hassle).

Is there any way to do this, what do I need? (is it legal?)

No, I'm calling the FBI right now. No one is allowed to have 2 TVs in one room. You felon!!

You will not be able to get 2 signals from one Directv receiver. You will need 2 of them. If you get 2 of the same model (either the TVs or the receivers), you will run into remote control issues. There are fixes for that.

If it was illegal, I'd be in serious trouble. ;)

You will also need to have another cable coming from your dish down to this room so that you can connect the 2nd DTV receiver. Just buying a conventional splitter will not work.

Obviously I meant splitting a satellite signal.

Thanks for the help...
