Anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that Marshall and Lily just don't get back together, or, don't end up together in the long run? The reason I have my suspicion is due to the 'Old Ted' voiceover where he said... "Marshall and Lily HAD this thing where they could pause arguments..."
The reason I read that to potentially mean they didn't end up married, or, are not together in the 'present' day is because of the past tense. If I was telling a story about two friends from way back, that are married, and, they still employ the same quirky methods as when they were younger, I would use present tense HAVE... I could easily be wrong, heck, I would like to be wrong.

So, is Lily back to the red hair for this?
'Cause Alyson had the black hair for most of the summer. (Not that I've been stalking her or anything...... 'cause, if I had, I'd already know the answer.)

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware myself and this is on of my regular carryovers from last season. It'll be good to have some Cobie Smulders on TV again.

It wasn't bad (and, yes, Dark Lily is what made an appearance at the end) but then, almost anything would have seemed funny after the crapfest that was 'The Class.'

Robin really toned up over the summer, she was definitely smuldering.
If I were Barney, I would not have left the strip bar at the end of the episode, either.
Alyson's hair in the flashback scenes looked funny, and then by the 3rd flashback, it was obvious it was a wig, and she now does have the darker hair.

Ok, I can finally say I love the show now.
It was good and then average the 1st season, but watching tonight, I realized how much I missed ALL of the characters.
When the the show started, I resisted all the talk about Robin being so hot, because I love Alyson so much.
But it's season 2, man, she's smoking hot. If this show goes on for several years, they'd better spend a lot of time picking out the perfect girl for Ted, because Robin is going to be one tough act to follow.
I really found myself missing Lily and I really want to see more of Alyson with dark hair. Barney was solid and I didn't mind Ted one bit.
I even liked Marshall; having gone through the same thing with my wife back in 1994. I never wore any pants either.
This is my only for sure sitcom that I watch, so I'm glad that I can officially say that I love it and look forward to seeing it every week now.

Hot daughter!!!
I'm so happy she's back. I was worried when the kids were cut out of the second half of last season.
I don't like it when Marshall is so mopey because it kind of throws everything off. Ted is the one who's supposed to be mopey and Marshall is the one who's always supposed to be acting like a kid who just ate 10 pixie stix.
