Yes, it's the 2-disc platinum of the 2003 remake. Saw it as well today.

For the classic fan, I was in Sam's last night and picked up the 12-disc "Essential Charlie Chaplin Collection" for $20. I had seen it a couple of weeks ago at the same price and there is no other price crossed off on it so I believe it is the normal price.

What's frustrating about this is I paid waaaay more for both Seabiscuit and Texas Chainsaw. Both of these are two disc sets that were released with less expensive one disc editions the latter of which were on sale on release day. Because I'm a fiend for extras, I got the expensive 2 disc set that was not on sale. Inevitably it's always the two disc set that I didn't buy that never goes down in price or goes OOP. :mad:

When I went to pick it up, there was an older lady standing in the way. I waited until she moved, leaned in, said excuse me, and grabbed a copy. She looked at me, and goes: Seabiscuit?! I said, yup. I start to leave, and she says 'that about a horse?'. I said yup and kept leaving, she picked one up too.

Man, i wanted to jump on the changeling, but i didnt see any of these titles at the La Habra Sams. I looked around the store for an oddball display too. They had a display up of some liongate stuff and some other horror flicks at 7.88.

I was surprised how fast the horror titles sold out the Sam's Club near me. I went back last night to try to buy another TCM with the metal plate for my brother, but all of the New Line titles were sold out. It looked like they just received a shipment of Fox titles. I happy to find The Innocents for $7.88.

Ultraviolet Unrated Extended Cut is the WORST movie i ever see. Also, New Resident Evil movie hit the BIG SCREEN next year. I'll wait for the TRiology box set. Hellboy is OK... sadly part 2 won't hit the big screen till 2008 :(

I scored a copy TCM 2 Disc (Dark Red last year Edition) for $4.88 <= Still had 5-10 copies left. t's on the floor instead up on the shelves. If you can find it on DVDs section you have to look around Videogames section. The New TCM 2 Disc (Gold & Shinny Metal case) $18.88.

That's what I saw. What I found funny is that one of the 2-packs was messed up. They had the first Underworld TWICE instead of 1 of each.

I bought the Seabiscuit 2-DVD set for $11.44, even though I felt that was a bit steep. When I got home I noticed I already had the 1 DVD edition (unopened) which I bought for $3.99. Now I've got to decide if I return the $11.44 one or see if I can get $3.99 back on the 1 DVD edition as a trade-in(trade-in prices are probably $2 at best).

I've also got to figure out where is the best place to trade in my unopened extra copy of Three's Company Season 7.

Thanks. That will save me time. Hopefully the value of Three's Company S7 won't drop much between now and January so I can wait to see what happens after Christmas with other stores. Otherwise it's eBay or trade-in time.

2-disc Charlie & the Chocolate Factory at my Sam's too for 8.88. You never know what the availability of these 2 disc versions are going to be. I paid too much on release for fear it would be hard to find later. Did get the Seabiscuit deal though. Nice little package for the money. Glad I hesitated on that one.

My Sam's had a shitload of copies of Shogun Assassin. Struck me as a little odd since they never carry any other Animeigo titles.
