Columbine High School Shooting Game.

Columbine High School Shooting Game.
Be warned, this is absolutely grotesque on every level. Some idiot decided to make an online RPG about the day of the Columbine High School killings. You play as Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, and the obvious point of the game is to kill as many of your classmates as possible.

And the actual game can be found here: http://www.columbinegame.com/
I think it's just twisted. Some people are saying that this is no different than any WW2/army video games, because you're still killing people there.
What do you think?

And best of all, an interview with a Columbine survivor to get his thoughts on the game.
Great interview. At the end, he asks for a job in the games industry.

I am guessing that this is the game that the Canadian kid that shot up another school was playing?
This is definitely not the same as a war game. With wars, you agree to be a willing part of the war (leaving aside drafting requirements and possible political apprehensions for arguments sake). You have weapons you can use to battle against and methods to defend yourselves. You know going in that there is a chance you could die. Columbine was an ambush, with no way for the unwilling participants to defend themselves, or possibly know that going to school that day could lead to their deaths.

I guess none of you have played JFK Reloaded where you play as Lee Harvey Oswald and try to reenact the Kennedy assassination.

I haven't personally played either of these games, but I don't see anything wrong with them. Some people have a twisted sense of humor, and would enjoy these games. I don't think that someone's going to go out and recreate these events just because they played a videogame. There's obviously much more going on in their heads for that.

Yeah, Bully has gotten a rap as being "GTA in a school, i.e. Columbine," but in fact it's a far more multi-layered game that explores the pain (and pleasures) of adolescense in a funny way. Think more Fast Times At Ridgemont High than Columbine.

Once you've mastered it has no replay value.

its sad that someone makes a game about a couple losers who couldn't handle real life. are they running around screaming "because daddy never hugged me" while you're shooting.
