Deep Discount DVD has the original Battlestar Galactica series (http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=MCA023071)on sale for $43.56. The catch is, it's the Cylon head tin, which I know many people dislike because it doesn't fit on shelves. But still, it's the best price I've ever found for BSG:TOS.

My wife bought me this thing for my birthday last year. It's cool for like 20 minutes. Then it becomes quite annoying, and you wish you had the regular packaging that you can store with the rest of your dvd's.

Just so people know, the BSG Cylon head is not a tin, just an oversized carboard box with the front of a cylon head glued to the front. Inside the box you will find a normal size digipak within a large foam holder. The digipak is the same one you get in the newer release with the slipcover. The only added bonus is the box and a larger version of the book that comes in the newer release.

I bought the one out of Austrailia for about this price shipped and came in a cool Cylon collector's tin (a real tin) that is just the right shape and size to fit the keepcases inside and fits nicely on my DVD shelves. Got it from Ezydvd about 6 months ago...just checked the site and the tin is no longer available.
