Searched, but could not find any other threads on the Little Mermaid. Was wondering where the best place to buy or pre-order this title might be. Are any of the retailers or etailers offering any good incentives to buy from them? If not, what happened to Disney. They used to really push these Platinum releases, but it seems like they've been forgotten lately.

Disney Store B&M also has the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD w/ Bonus Lithographs for $19.99 plus a store coupon (15% off I think) good when you pick the movie up. I think the plushes are online only.

I tend to stay away from Disney Store B&M for DVD's because they all come in a white case or some odd color, instead of the standard black. I usually prefer white over black for most products, but it just looks ugly on DVD covers.

A lot of Disney movies come in white cases, although to my knowledge none of the platnium series have.

It's true a lot do, but some also have a black version.

Best Buy has a pre-order deal going if I recall correctly.

is the pin also available at the in-store preorder, or just online?

I never got any of my PEs in white cases. I preordered mine from Disney Store for $19.99 and got my 4 lithographs
