The Complete List of Films with a Twist Ending?

There's a comprehensive list of films with twist endings on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...a_twist_ending

The list is very dense... so dense that I couldn't think of any films that had a twist ending that wasn't already on that list!

Can any of you think of one?

And, with the joys of wikipedia, you can acutally add the missing films right on it... That is, if there is any ;-)

Just checked for two films, one not too obscure and the other direct to video (I think) and they aren't on there.

Spoiler:
Employee of the Month

Mediocre film I caught on HBO with about 5 "twists"

One of my favorites
Spoiler:
Full Frontal

Maybe not a traditional twist, but a major deception that forces you to rethink not only the film but your reaction to it. Integral to the film and not just a tacked on twist like many films.

I can't believe I had to add The Wizard of Oz in there. I mean, come on, how can you forget that one?

Spellbinder is not listed. Basic plot is Tim Daly tries to save Kelly Preston from a coven of witches. I don't want to give away the ending but it is a major twist from what we think is going to happen.

Would Empire Strikes Back count? No one expected Vader to be Luke's father so that was a twist.

Would Blair Witch Project count as having a twist ending or just a bad ending?

I wanted to edit my above posts so I could add new movies but it won't let me.

Last American Virgin, Murder By Death, and (depending on how you look at it) Pretty In Pink & Some Kind of Wonderful all have a major twist at the end.

I just don't count many of those as having a twist ending.

Shouldn't Donnie Darko be on that list?

A lot of those listed are not what i would call "twist endings". A lot simply have a character that you believe was nice that ends up being the killer....or vice -versa. Thats not a twist, its the simple dynamics of a thriller or crime drama....you are not suppossed to find out who the killer/bad guy etc. is until the final act.

You could apply the twist ending to almost any film. e.g. Alien - At the end after the ship has exploded Ripley thinks she is safe....but the alien is still with her. Same goes for Aliens. This is not a twist ending really.....just a final chance to make you "jump" from your seat.

Agreed. So many of those endings are not twists.

Some of them don't even contain that much of a twist. Some of these movies that I'm seeing on the list are movies that seem to come to a logical and expected conclusion. In the Mouth of Madness? There's some blurring between fantasy and reality as the main character goes crazy, but I wouldn't really call that a twist. Twilight Zone: The Movie? The only twist there was in the beginning. Solaris? It's been a while since I've seen it, but I don't remember any kind of twist at the end. The Matrix??? What's the twist, that Neo turns out to be The One? OMG, I didn't see that coming!

I can think of one:

DAMIEN: OMEN II

(Spoilers)

When Lee Grant suddenly stabs William Holden at the very end with the daggers and says: "I've always been on his side! (or something to that effect) Damiennnnnn!"
