What Next Gen Game are you most anticipating?
There's a lot of hype about the 360 and the two forthcoming consoles, but this isn't what Im curious about. What forthcoming game has you the most interested.
For example, I'm personally most looking forward to the Wii, but the two games right now that interest me most are Gears of War, and Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 for the 360.
You?

Mine's easily Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I had this pre-ordered for months for the Gamecube and have been looking forward to it for ages. I usually keep my expectations low to avoid setting myself up for disappointment, but I'm expecting it to be amazing on the Wii.

Gears of War looks cool, but for me it's all about the Wii. Zelda: Twilight Princess is probably at the top of my list, but Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 are close behind.

Super Mario Galaxy, however, looks like something I'd get a lot of enjoyment out of. Metroid Prime 3 and SSBB as well.
Nothing on the 360 has grabbed me yet and the PS3 is so ridiculously overpriced and underwhelming (to me) that I can't even imagine anything drawing me in. Still hoping we get a nice DQ9 announcement at TGS for the Wii.

Kingdom Hearts III? Oh wait.. that's not real (yet).
Nothing "next-gen" has me too excited at the moment. I'm very anxious to try some games on the Wii but I think there may be more "current-gen" stuff that I'm looking forward too this year. Well, maybe Dragon Quest Swords.. but since there hasn't been a single screen shot released yet, I can only use my imagination on that one.

Max and Max, I understand. The controls make the difference. Even Mario Galaxy isn't much different than 64 or Sunshine except for the controls.
I guess it really comes down to what "Next Gen" means. If it merely means the lastest console, then yeah, Zelda by far for me also.
Other than than, I can't think of any game on any system that is truly different than games I've seen before.
Madden 07 isn't Next Gen, imo, any more than the 360 version of Lego Star Wars 2. I guess the term has lost all meaning to me.

There are a few upcoming games that have me excited. First is Assassin's Creed for the PS3(for now, as it will probably be a 360 game before long). Second is Gears of War for the 360, and last is Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii.

Games I am most looking forward to (Wii/Mario/Zelda aside) is Bioshock and Condemned 2.

Another obvious choice for me is FFXII and FFXIII. FFXIII will probably be the game that makes me buy a PS3 (unless Assassin's Creed does actually end up being exclusive).

Marvel Ultimate Alliance,Halo 3 & Grand Theft Auto IV for the X-Box 360. Another I'm looking forward to is the "next-gen" Star Wars. I hope there is a Star Wars Battlefront III(maybe w/a chance to pick characters for a team. Like Luke,Darth Vader, and Yoda kicking some ass. But that will never happen)

Gears of War. This one is a no-brainer.
Assassin's Creed. Made by the same crew that did the recent Prince of Persia games, so it should be awesome.
Mass Effect. Made by Bioware, one of the finest Western RPG developers (see PC Baldur's Gate series, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire).
Bioshock. Made by the same crew that did System Shock 2, and they have called Bioshock the "spiritual successor" to System Shock 2.
Too Human. Was originally toted to be an "epic" action RPG, but it has been in development for ages, so who knows how much has changed since then.
Resident Evil 5. Nothing has really been shown about this game, but it is confirmed to be in development. If it is anything like RE4, then it will be awesome.
Mercenaries 2. Loved the first one, so I expect great things from the sequel.
Splinter Cell Double Agent. Love the Splinter Cell series, even if they are all pretty much the same with only a few minor changes. Double Agent looks to be a completely fresh change to the series though.
Rainbow Six Vegas. Love the Rainbow Six series, and Vegas looks to be great so far.
