How much longer does EA have the NFL license?

I haven't bought a football game sine the 2K series stopped I've been dying to play but Madden is a waste of money. The last good madden was on the Sega Genesis

Forever.... well, technically 5 years (only 3 more to go!!) but who's to say they won't extend the agreement.

At the rate EA is going, it will take 3 more years before the "next gen" version catches up with the current gen as far as features go.

Madden '94 on the Genesis was my favorite, too.

only 3 more years piece of cake. Maybe EA will come out with a good Madden before then.

I was also a 2K fan, and I actually still play online against all the scumbag cheaters, but what can I say, I like the game. However I'm going to be taking a look at Madden on the Wii, and if it's as fun as people have been hyping it, I may have to pick it up. I don't have the greatest faith in EA programmers though.

Haven't purchased a Madden game myself since 04. Might give this next generation a try at the end of the year.

I used to be a fan of the 2K games too, but I have no complaints about Madden 2007 for the 360. The gameplay is excellent.
