$4.99 Fox titles at Big Lots (YMMV)

Hadn't been to a Big Lots in awhile. Almost no anime at my local, but lots of $2.99 Wu-Tang discs & some decent Fox titles for $4.99 including:

Barton Fink
Titus (2 disc)
King Of Comedy
Slums of Beverly Hills
How I Got Into College
Cousin Bette
Don't Bother To Knock
another Marilyn Monroe movie I don't remember...As Young As You Feel maybe?

When you say Titus, do you by any chance mean this one?

Yep. That's the one. Unfortunately, I bought the Shakespeare 3 pack during the last DDD 20% sale for that movie alone...

Trouble Man can be added to the list of DVDs I remember seeing today.

Yeah, I bought Titus a few weeks back.

I was looking for batteries and a cheap univeral remote. Looked in the movie shelf. Cool deal. It's been on my list (towards the end) for some time.

I'll have to check ours out. I haven't seen How I got into College for quite some time. Decent end of 80s flick if I remember correctly, back when Lara Flynn Boyle had some meat on her bones.

Errrr ... I really don't care for my local Big Lots. They never have anything decent. Needless to say, no dice on Titus.

I checked mine and they didn't really have anything good. We had A Life Less Ordinary and The Kid Stays in the Picture. I'd love to have picked up The King of Comedy and The Fury, though. I want those bad.

Didn't see any Fox titles I wanted. Small selection at my store. I did, however, for 4 bucks, buy a 10 movie pack collection called Gore and More! The movies inside are The Werewolf vs. Vampire Woman, Driller Killer, Scream Bloody Murder, Drive-In Massacre, The Phx, Night Train to Terror, Werewolf in a Girl's Dormitory, Don't Look in the Basement, The Bloody Brood, and Bad Taste. They are on 3 discs. They had other movie packs with topics like Thrillers, Detectives, Comedy, Westerns, Hercules, Black Action, etc.

Incidently, there was this guy looking over my shoulder while I was thumbing through the dvds and he told me that Blockbuster sells used dvds!!! I told him I know, but Blockbuster mainly sells used current movies, and I happen to like B-movies. lol

Yeah, usually for MORE than what NEW DVDs at Big Lots cost! I NEVER buy used!

Picked up Broadcast News and Black Action 10-Pack.
